Friction Tester (Evaluation of friction coefficient and wear amount)

As the evaluation of cashew particles, we have measured the friction coefficient, the wear resistance
and the dμ/dV property using a test piece molded with a friction material formulation by our original
friction tester.

When the dμ/dV of the friction materials is dμ/dV≧0, the friction vibration become damped vibration. So, these friction materials don’t cause the noise.
When the dμ/dV of friction materials is dμ/dV＜0, the friction vibration becomes self-excited vibration.  So, these friction materials cause the noise.

Using the FFT analyzer, we have measured the vibration absorption property of cashew particle

We evaluate the flexibility and tanδ for the vibration absorption property by DMA.
